Purple moor grass - Molinia caerulea EDITH DUDSZUS
Forms compact, 40 cm tall, narrow-leaved clump. The fine, brownish flower spikes appears in August, reaching height of 60 - 80 cm. Versatile ornamental grass. Preffered growing place - sunny or slightly shaded, with moderate moisture. As fall sets in, the grass turns yellowish-brown. Decorative throughout the entire winter period, so pruning is done in the spring.
