Planting depth: Shoots at soil level. When planting roots, ensure that the buds are not too deep (approximately 5-7 cm below the soil surface). If the peony roots are planted too deeply, they will grow well but won’t bloom.
Planting distance: Peonies should be planted about 1 meter apart because their roots grow both wide and deep, up to 1 meter.
Soil: Peonies grow well in almost all nutrient-rich soils, but sandy loam is the most suitable.

For young peonies: They should not be allowed to flower during the first two years. Of course, you can leave some flower buds, but the fewer flowers there are, the stronger the root system and plant growth will be.
