Molinia 'Transparent' is one of the tall varieties of molinia. It forms high, airy, green, compact clumps of leaves. In the second half of summer, flower stems grow to about 200 cm tall. The more moisture, the longer the flower stems. It starts to bloom at the end of July with large, gray-brown flower spikes that gently and gracefully sway above the green clump of leaves, leaning over them.
