Japanese fern variety 'Metallicum' originating from Japanese forests. Very striking and beautiful, hence in other parts of the world it is also referred to as rainbow fern. The foliage is summer-green, up to 50 cm tall, silvery-gray with a distinctly reddish tint, with leaf stalks also having a reddish hue.
