Festuca gautieri, known as Gotjē auzene. Its natural distribution area is mountainous regions. The plant is resistant to various climatic conditions – it tolerates drought, low temperatures, and poor soils well. Widely used in landscape design. In Latvia, it grows to 25-30 cm in height, forming beautiful green clumps with fine leaves. In English, it is popularly known as lawn grass. Dense, cushion-like clumps will be an excellent decoration for flower beds, rock gardens, and will look great in pots. The compact, spherical shape adds a charming accent to any garden.
